Every Thursday I will be bringing you another instalment of my guest series, Money Talks. I’ll be featuring bloggers from all walks of life giving their answers to money-related questions. Hopefully, you will find a new blog to read and learn more about other people online. Money Talks will be live every Thursday and I’ve got some absolutely fantastic bloggers taking part! Hope you enjoy it. If you’re a blogger and want to take part then get in touch. This weeks instalment features Lousnews. You can check out the Lousnews website here.
When did you start blogging?
What inspired your blog name?
What is your attitude to money – are you a spender or a saver?
I’m a saver, always have been and always will be. Even when I spend I make sure it’s a bargain so that I’m saving in the process.
What is the best bargain you have ever purchased?
I went to Benidorm with the other half for a week, 4-star hotel with food included right on the seafront. Only cost us £300 for the week, after we got told in store by the same company that we wouldn’t get anything for under £500!
What is the biggest splurge you have ever made?
I just got a new Mac, the other half had to talk me into it mind you. I was a little put off with spending that much money but I got a student discount with it and a free pair of beats headphones so I was convinced.
If you have £100,000 right now what would you do with it?
Buy a house, a big one to contain all my hobbies. I’d have a greenhouse so I can grow peppers and tomatoes as well and a garden big enough for the dogs to run around in!
If you could go back 10 years & give yourself one piece of money related advice what would it be?
What was the last item you purchased?
I purchase a meal deal, £3 from Tesco which is a saving in my eyes. The most expensive thing I’ve purchased this week was a funky pop box with 3 inside and I have no idea what they are as it’s a mystery box!
What is your favourite ever blog post?
My post all about paying for long-term prescriptions would be my favourite by far. PPC is perfect for people who have to take long-term medication and the fact that I have mental health and will be on medication for life, I’m glad I can save as much as possible each month!
What is your biggest money regret?
If you enjoyed this post I’d love it if you could pin it on Pinterest!
