When did you start blogging?

I started blogging in 2016, only part-time mind you.

What inspired your blog name?

I have no idea, I literally can’t remember. I think it was probably a hobby, to begin with, something to take my mind off of university and then it became a more full-time thing and something I couldn’t imagine life without!

What is your attitude to money – are you a spender or a saver?

I’m a saver, always have been and always will be. Even when I spend I make sure it’s a bargain so that I’m saving in the process.

What is the best bargain you have ever purchased?

I went to Benidorm with the other half for a week, 4-star hotel with food included right on the seafront. Only cost us £300 for the week, after we got told in store by the same company that we wouldn’t get anything for under £500!

What is the biggest splurge you have ever made?

I just got a new Mac, the other half had to talk me into it mind you. I was a little put off with spending that much money but I got a student discount with it and a free pair of beats headphones so I was convinced.

If you have £100,000 right now what would you do with it?

Buy a house, a big one to contain all my hobbies. I’d have a greenhouse so I can grow peppers and tomatoes as well and a garden big enough for the dogs to run around in!

If you could go back 10 years & give yourself one piece of money related advice what would it be?

I wouldn’t. I would want to make the same savings and mistakes that I’ve made already to get me where I am. It’s because of the mistakes that I’ve been able to save so much and I’m a lot more clever with what I spend.

What was the last item you purchased?

I purchase a meal deal, £3 from Tesco which is a saving in my eyes. The most expensive thing I’ve purchased this week was a funky pop box with 3 inside and I have no idea what they are as it’s a mystery box!

What is your favourite ever blog post?

My post all about paying for long-term prescriptions would be my favourite by far. PPC is perfect for people who have to take long-term medication and the fact that I have mental health and will be on medication for life, I’m glad I can save as much as possible each month!

What is your biggest money regret?

Getting a credit card with a terrible company and having to pay it back with the fear of not being able to meet the minimum payments because of the interest, I’ve learnt my lesson and if I ever got one out again I’d do a lot of research first!
