2019 is upon us! Every year I like to make a little family bucket list. As we’re already a few days into the month I want to share my list for 2019 with you! Scroll down near the end if you fancy seeing our previous years and the updates for them too!

My bucket list for 2019

My bucket list for 2019:

My bucket list for 2019. A list of days out, adventures and ideas of memories that we want to make as a family. #Bucketlist #bucketlistideas #list #goals #aims #planning #familytime

As you can see we’ve made quite the sizeable list for this year! My bucket list is packed full of wonderful ideas for family days out, memory making and a few things designed to push me out of my comfort zone. I haven’t been abroad in a long time now so visiting another country is going to be exciting! Even if it just ends up being Scotland!

We really want to enjoy Disney magic with Daisy while she is still young, but want to wait until she is old enough to remember at least a little of it. For this reason, we want to book Disney in 2019, but we may not visit until 2020!

I’ve been wanting to climb over the O2 since we visited in 2018 to enjoy a show with family. I’ve even been watching some YouTube videos and while it feels a little bit scary I feel confident that I can achieve it!

Lots of my ideas for 2019 are self-explanatory really but I’m really looking forward to us moving in a couple of months and having our own outdoor space. I want to create an outdoor herb garden as it has been a dream of mine for quite a few years now. We used to have an allotment but had to give it back as the land wasn’t being maintained around it sufficiently sadly. I’m so excited for us to have our own little patch of garden and I LOVE fresh herbs in cooking!

We’re already working on the new car goal, and have around 38% of our target already. I want us to buy our car by around June, but depending on finances this could go quicker! Or slower!

A couple of the items on my bucket list have probably been carried over from previous years, maybe 2017, but I had a small baby at the time and not everything was achievable. I’m very goal orientated now and love being able to hit and set goals.

I hope that you’ll enjoy reading about our escapades during 2019 and seeing us cross items off my list. I’m looking forward to another fantastic year with my family filled with lots of good times. For me a bucket list is about more than things you want to do before you die. It is about enriching our lives, spending time together and making a conscious effort to push boundaries and have fun. We’ve got lots of little achievable on our list but also lots of items to push us out of our comfort zone a little. We’ve never had a family photoshoot and Daisy is almost 3 so that is something I want to change!

Oooh, now you’ve got me thinking! Mostly this year I’m planning on kind of catching up on what I had planned to do last year before circumstances rather stalled my me-time

My biggest tip would be to buy the small herb plants from Homebase or similar and then keep trimming them until around October/November time. Also, keep rosemary well supported and keep mint in its own tub as it is ferocious and will just grow and strangle everything else otherwise! x
