Book: The Multi-Hyphen Method

I finished this book in late December and loved it so much I sent it on to a blogging friend to hopefully inspire her too. I’m definitely a multi-hyphenate as I have lots of income sources and jobs that I do to make up my annual income. This book was still an eye opener to me and was VERY motivational. I’ve kept up the momentum from reading this book for literally weeks. It is perfect if you are someone who works an array of jobs but is looking for the confidence to share that with others.

Book: The Miracle Morning

This book is a late addition to my likes and loves for January! I just finished it a few days ago and knew I had to feature it here! I read the book cover to cover in just a couple of hours but finished it feeling incredibly motivated.

ALREADY this book has changed my mornings! I’m not always waking up at 5 or 6 am but I am waking up and making the first hour of my day about myself. I’m fitting in more time to exercise, time to meditate and time to focus on my goals and dreams for the future. It has been fantastic so far but I’m planning a post in February or March talking about how much this has helped me.

Likes and Loves for January 2019 - Me on a day out shopping

My Mum and I had a day out for some shopping. I bought this new coat, a few pairs of jeans and even a new swimming costume for our Centerparcs holiday! It was a great day out. It was lovely to have some time away from being a Mum for a few hours too.

This lovely mug that Thomas got me for Christmas is my new favourite! It’s huge, sturdy, has a thick handle and holds lots of nice coffee. I’ve had LOTS of compliments about this when sharing it on my Instagram. I’m a fan of sturdy mugs, as I don’t like anything that could break easily when I’m holding it or washing it up!

Living Arrows 1/52 [2019] Daisy playing toys

I love that we are taking part in another year of Living Arrows! Being able to look back on previous years and the same week in a previous year is great. I love seeing how much Daisy has changed!

Likes and loves for January 2019 - A family walk

We’ve been out and about on more family walks and trips this month. It’s been lovely! I’m trying to brush off the fact we are still in our flat! Maybe for another 2 months or so. I’m going to just embrace this time. We live near town, and our estate is quite nice, so we’re just enjoying this time! We even went out for a nice lunch while Daisy had a nap!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Likes and Loves for January 2019. I’m going to make this a regular feature. I’m looking forward to sharing more of the little things that made my month more enjoyable with you.
