Every month I am going to be sharing with you my Likes and Loves for the past month. This post will be an eclectic mix of some of the things I have liked or loved in the last month. Items that were gifted to me for a possible mention within this feature will be clearly marked with a #.
Shows I’ve been loving on Netflix this month
Netflix: Line of Duty
I have been meaning to watch this for ages, and finally got around to it! In just 13 evenings Thomas and I have watched all 4 of the series that are on Netflix. Then we watched series 5 on BBC iPlayer. I’m excited to hear that there will be a 6th series. I’ve really, really enjoyed this! It isn’t my usual sort of watch on Netflix but now I will be branching out for sure.
Recipe: Slow cooker hunters chicken
I love how simple this recipe is. It takes just minutes to prepare and then 5 minutes of grilling at the end and it is ready. I serve with airfryer chips as these are a winner in my home!
Product: Thirsty Mums Club Mug
Meeting other parents on social media is something that I love. We have children, so already have a shared interest, but I love it, even more, when I meet parents that are like myself. Up for a laugh, open and honest and trying to make it work as a work-from-home parent, and this is why I was only too happy to support the Thirsty Mums Club. Each week, over on Lauren’s Instagram, we all objectify whoever we fancy and vote as to whether they are of interest or not. TMC is one of my favourite Instastories to join in with each week!
Ikea chalks & markers
Thomas took a trip to Ikea for us recently, to get a storage unit for Daisy’s toys. He also picked up these markers and chalks that I had on my list. The whiteboard pens are £2 for 4 pens and the chalks are £1.25 for 9. These are really sturdy and perfect for Daisy to use with her #Review: Casdon wooden blackboard easel.
Product: *Natural Dead Sea Mud Mask
I have been using this since my Birthday in April and I absolutely love it. My skin has been a little clearer, it feels like the mud masks that come in plastic packets and it has been lasting ages. I’ve already been using it twice a week since late April and I am less than 1/3 of the way through. I’m quite generous on the application too, and it is simple to wash off. This *natural dead sea mud mask is around £12 and worth every penny!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Likes and Loves for June 2019. I’m really enjoying this regular feature and getting to share more of the smaller aspects of my life with you!
