Homemade oat biscuits – similar to Hobnobs!

I’m a bit of a lover of a sweet treat after tea. As my lovely husband and I are trying to lose weight these days we don’t have many treats at home now. Typically I think if we don’t have them we won’t eat them. Only on the rare occasions do I like to push the boat out and bake us a nice treat. Recently I made these delicious homemade oat biscuits. They take just 5 minutes to knock up and just 10 minutes in the oven – woohoo! This oat biscuits recipe is really simple and I hope you enjoy it!

Invest money for the moments that matter with Fidelity (AD)

I’ve said it before here, multiple times I’m sure, but I am a firm believer that £1 saved is worth as much, if not more, than £1 earned. Making small, sustainable changes to your household spending can really transform your family finances. Today I have been asked, by Fidelity, to talk to you about the little luxuries that I cut back on to save for big financial goals and ways that you can do the same.

The Meal Planning Linky Week #114 Meal Plan

Hello, happy Friday! I hope that the week has been a good one for you. It’s been good here. Lots achieved and this weekend we get our new dog. Yay! I’m really excited now there is just one day to go. Eek!

Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel really sad if we have to throw something in the bin, thinking of both the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.

Living Arrows 9/52 [2020]

Good afternoon! I’ve not been working over the weekend so completely forgot to get this scheduled in! Daisy and I have been enjoying a lovely weekend and Tom was home for most of it too which was great. We just enjoyed each other’s company, relaxed and enjoyed being at home. Our new dog is arriving this weekend so we wanted to keep it low maintenance ready for all the life changes that are coming our way!
