Living Arrows 29/52 [2019]

Happy Monday! I hope you’ve had a great week. Thomas had a full week off work which was lovely. We didn’t really plan much, as we didn’t know beforehand if we would finally have a house or not. As we don’t we decided to just enjoy some peace and quiet at home together. Daisy went to Nursery as normal and so this gave Thomas and me a chance to recharge our batteries. This weeks living arrows 29/52 post is now live!

Living Arrows 29/52

This photo was taken just before Daisy had her hair cut. She’s grubby, in her favourite PJs and she brought my camera in to the bedroom. She asked me to take a photograph of her and then later she took one of me too – it was surprisingly good for a 3-year-old!

The Meal Planning Linky Week #81 Meal Plan

Happy Friday! I hope this week has been kind to you. Nothing much going on here, just working and the usual life stuff. Thomas has had a week off work, which has been great, so we’ve had lots of time together. Each week I bring you my meal plan and provide an area for other bloggers to link up (see below). I love seeing what everyone is linking up and getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.

Our first 2019 Bucket list update

I have been writing an annual bucket list for our family for the last few years. This year I have been RUBBISH at arranging things from it, but I’ve still got time to turn things around! Being self-employed means I can get caught up in working every single day. This 2019 bucket list has been designed to motivate me into arranging fun trips and days out with my family on a regular basis. Although I haven’t been great at that so far this year. Anyway, this is our first 2019 bucket list update!

Here is a reminder of our 2019 bucket list at the beginning of the year:

My bucket list for 2019. A list of days out, adventures and ideas of memories that we want to make as a family. #Bucketlist #bucketlistideas #list #goals #aims #planning #familytime

How to freeze blackberries – everything you need to know

My regular readers will know that we have an allotment. As such we have an excess of produce at particular times of the year. I’m really good at knowing how to freeze fresh herbs, making jams and making delicious goodies. However, there aren’t always enough hours in the day! This week I harvested 700g of blackberries – in just one visit to my allotment! Obviously, I am really pleased but I didn’t have time to use them up. This is how to freeze blackberries!

Living Arrows 28/52 [2019] (AD)

AD. Happy Monday! I’ve been looking forward to this week for AGES! Thomas has a well deserved week off work and I’m looking forward to spending some nice time together. Daisy is going to go to Nursery for her usual 3 days meaning we will get some time together just us two. We are also going to keep the week fairly loose with plans, and not overcommit ourselves. I’m thinking we might take a trip to the seaside, just before the kids break up from school. Also, hopefully, we’ll fit in a visit or two to family and some nice relaxing evenings in front of the TV too. This weeks living arrows 28/52 post is now live!

Living Arrows 28/52

Technically this photo is from last week but I just couldn’t resist sharing one of the photographs I took at a family wedding. Daisy was a flower girl. She had the best time! This photo was one I snapped during a break from the official photographs and I’m so pleased I did. I’ve really captured how cheeky she was being during this moment and I know I’ll look back on this photo for years to come. My favourite photographs are the ones that really capture a moment, an expression or just a different side. Not to mention ones where Daisy looks absolutely adorable and I can have another glance during one of her more trying days!
