Toys. They are just everywhere aren’t they when you have children?! Once upon a time I had all of Daisy’s toys rearranged in her playpen. It was great. I was able to clean it and rotate them really easy thanks to a storage box or two. Now Daisy wants easy access to her favourite toys, which is understandable as she is almost two! Recently Songmics, a leading seller from Amazon, got in touch and asked us if we would like to review one of their items. I had a little browse and this toy storage unit quickly jumped out at me! I’ve got it set up, and re-arranged Daisy’s toys, so I want to share some photos with you – and give one lucky reader the chance to win one themselves!
Songmics sell a vast array of storage based products, and other home and fitness items. They are a bit of a one-stop shop on Amazon for just about anything related to organising your life! Here is a closer look at the toy storage unit that we chose:
This toy storage unit came packaged in a pretty small box:
I just snipped the end of the box open and tipped the contents onto the floor. It took me 1-2 minutes to unpackage everything and check it was all there against the contents listing in the instruction manual. Then I was able to put it together, using 12 screws, and it only took a few minutes in total. I was really pleased with how quick and easy this was to put together. I was able to do it by myself while my husband was sleeping after a night-shift, which was really convenient.
Once the toy storage unit was put together I was pleased with how many toys it held. Daisy has lots of smaller toys and they have all fit in comfortable, with space left over. This toy storage unit comes with an anti-toppling device. I think it would topple fairly easily so I would advise using the anti-topping device. It looks very simple and if Daisy was younger I would definitely fit this. Safety first and all that..!
