If you’ve got little ones at home you’ve probably already heard of the DreamWorks Animation series Spirit Riding Free. Spirit Riding Free follows the story of Lucky, and her horse Spirit, as they go on adventures together. We have been sent the new Spirit and Lucky Deluxe Feeding Set to review and Daisy was SO excited! The moment this arrived Daisy wanted to rip the box open and I decided to indulge her!

The Spirit and Lucky deluxe feeding set

The Spirit and Lucky Deluxe Feeding Set comes with Spirit, Lucky, a bucket with 4 carrots, a blanket, a booklet and a water flask too. It has an RRP of £59.99. The accessories are really well packaged in the box, so we ended up using a pair of scissors to remove everything. The Spirit and Lucky Deluxe Feeding Set is designed for children aged 5-7, but suitable for children aged 3+ only due to the smaller parts.

Spirit and Lucky

Lucky and Spirit both have the most beautiful hair! It is super glossy and shiny and Daisy is loving it. I think it would be a great addition to have a little hairbrush in the set, as I know Daisy would love to brush the hair all day long.

Spirit can make noises, when you tip his head down, and this makes it quite interactive when you dip his head to eat or drink from the little bucket provided. Also, on the back of Spirit’s back there is a button that you can press. This activates some sounds but if you hold it then Spirit will actually eat a carrot. You place the carrot in to Spirit’s mouth, the chewing noise starts and the carrot actually disappears. This is such a cute feature, and Daisy’s favourite by far! I must admit I’ve actually quite enjoyed feeding carrots to Spirit and watching them disappear. You can then get the carrots back by lifting open a little flap underneath Spirit, that is really siple to use. Just refill the bucket and fun can begin again!

A close up look at the accessories

Spirit comes with her own bucket, with 4 carrots inside. Also, Spirit has a lovely blanket, complete with velcro, that you can fit on to her back.

Lucky

Lucky comes with a cute outfit already fitted and a water flask too, that can be worn over her shoulder. Also, Lucky can actually sit on the top of Spirit, which adds another element to the fun of this set.

I have to say that this set is adorable! Daisy is absolutely loving it. There have already been hours of fun for us, without Daisy having seen the show before. If your little one is a fan of Spirit Riding Free or a horse lover, then this is going to make a fantastic Christmas present for them! Also, be sure to check out the new Spirit Riding Free toy range.
