We were gifted our trip to Peppa Pig World in exchange for coverage. This year, from the 23rd – 29th of April 2018 Save The Children are asking people to take part in their Muddle Puddle Walk. This walk, which was a HUGE success last year, with more than 150,000 children taking part, aims to raise vital funds for Save The Children and the work that they carry out across the World. Today I want to talk to you about our own Muddy Puddle Walk and help you learn more about signing up for this fantastic campaign to help children around the World.
Nurseries, early years groups, families and children across the country will be taking part in the Muddy Puddle Walk this year, from the 23rd – 29th April 2018. You can sign up here for a fundraising pack. You’ll receive lovely stickers, a target tracker to help you raise vital funds and much more in your fundraising pack.
What is a Muddy Puddle Walk?
It is really simple to organise your own Muddy Puddle Walk. All you need to do is head on outside, find some puddles, or make your own indoors with paper or foil, and get jumping. You can spend a great fun day together with your family and raise funds for Save The Children too.
You can raise funds however you like, either by a sponsored walk, asking for a donation, or perhaps baking cakes to sell on the day of your Muddy Puddle Walk. It is a great way to get little ones out in the fresh air, exercising, raising funds for a fantastic charity and learning more about kindness and being charitable. Also, my little one sleeps like a log when we’ve had a busy day so that is another plus for us! The money you raise will help Save the Children’s work to transform the lives of vulnerable children in the UK and around the world.
Entertainment One’s Peppa Pig absolutely LOVES a Muddy Puddle, and a Muddy Puddle Walk, and we were invited to Peppa Pig World last week to see just how amazing it is.
We had a fantastic time on our own Muddy Puddle Walk recently and we can’t wait to complete another one on our holiday at the end of the month to hopefully raise some funds for Save The Children!
