AD. As parents to a two-year-old, we love nothing more than a good trip to a farm or zoo. Anywhere that we can entertain our little one, preferably for a few hours at least, with hot coffee nearby, is good with us! If we are able to teach Daisy new things about animals, caring for them and where some of our food and drink comes from then even better! Thomas and Daisy were invited along to Lee Valley Park Farms to enjoy their conservation week, during February half-term, and to celebrate the farm re-opening for 2019.
AD. Half-term is rapidly approaching! It is NEVER too early to make plans, to help the half-term period run more smoothly for your family. If you’re located in, or near, to Essex I want to share with you how you can entertain the whole family under one roof this half-term – and beyond! This is a collaborative post with The Meadows Shopping Centre in Chelmsford as I want to share the great ways you can entertain your family this half-term.
The Meadows Shopping Centre is located in Chelmsford and is easily accessible from London, Hertfordshire and Essex too. It’s just a 5-10 minute walk from the train station which is absolutely fantastic. The Meadows Shopping Centre is home to a variety of shops, restaurants and even a cinema! You really can entertain your whole family this half-term under one roof!
For us, we don’t get to eat out lots, because Daisy has such severe allergies. However, with careful planning, we are able to enjoy a nice meal together when Daisy is having a nap. Giraffe offers a delicious menu for the whole family, and Wildwood is delightful for younger children in particular with lots of pizza and pasta dishes on the menu. Later in the day, when you want a break from shopping and entertainment, you can enjoy a nice Millie’s Cookie or even order a personalised large cookie as a gift to a loved one or even yourself. I love to enjoy a nice Costa when I’m out shopping! Continue reading →
