If you read my blog or follow me on social media, you will know I love a trip to Centerparcs! My family and I visit at least twice a year, often more than this, and we love trying out a new lodge. Recently we enjoyed a Winter stay in a Centerparcs Waterside Lodge located in Elveden Forest. This is the nearest Centerparcs to our home and we tend to visit it pretty frequently. I’m going to share my honest review with you, talking about what I believe can be changed, and what we loved about our Centerparcs Waterside Lodge. If you’re reading this as you’ll be visiting Centerparcs soon then be sure to check out what to pack for Centerparcs! Also, if you’re wondering how I can afford to visit Centerparcs so much it is because I get free holidays thanks to matched betting! I save up the money that I make through the year and use some of it to have lovely breaks with my family.
The Centerparcs Waterside Lodge
We stayed in the third lodge, on the right. This was number 94 and was named Sloop. All of the lodges have the same facilities and amenities but this one was the least overlooked in our opinion. When we were in the lodge we couldn’t see anyone, besides through one of the windows. When we were enjoying the deck area we also couldn’t see anyone until we stood near the gas barbeque.
We were gifted our stay in exchange for coverage. My husband and I absolutely love a holiday within the UK. It is really convenient for us to get in the car, or go on the train, and take Daisy on holiday for a week, or 5 days as we more commonly do. Daisy has FPIES, which means we require a lot of food and products to take her on holiday. Also, travel insurance is steep and bumps up the price of a holiday abroad considerably. For this reason, we have been sticking to having local (ish) holiday for the past 2 years, just so we know that we are near her hospital, and near to her team of consultants should she have a reaction and end up needing to visit the hospital. Anyway, we were recently invited to Bluestone Wales, as part of their #BluestoneBlogger campaign and we jumped at the chance – having heard that it is the Welsh version of Centerparcs!
If you’re an avid reader of mine or follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you will know that we absolutely love Centerparcs, and typically visit 3-5 times each year, with family and just the 3 of us. Anyway, this is my Bluestone Wales review and I hope it is going to be as in-depth as people seem to want it to be!
AD. Holidays are some that we love to take as a family. In 2017 we have been on 5 holidays and a few short breaks too. I’m really happy that we get to have a wonderful amount of holidays together. Working hard affords us the luxury of choosing where we go on holiday and my husband gets a good amount of holiday days at work too. In 2017 we went to Centerparcs several times. While dragging our suitcases through the forest from the car park they have taken on a bit of wear and tear. Today I’m thinking about getting ready for our next holiday – which will hopefully only be a few months away!
