Review: In The Night Garden Live

Daisy is a HUGE fan of In The Night Garden. When I saw that there was a live show, In The Night Garden Live, I knew that she would absolutely love it. I wasn’t wrong! We recently headed off to the O2, to the In The Night Garden Live showdome, to enjoy the show. This is our In The Night Garden Live review – hope you enjoy it!

In The Night Garden Live - The showdome

Doors opened 30 minutes before the In The Night Garden Live show started, giving us time to buy snacks and drinks, choose toys or books and get to our seats. The seating arrangement is really relaxed, with large seating areas, with benches. You’re able to sit anywhere you want, and there are rows 1-5, for premium ticket holders, and rows 6-13, for standard ticket holders. Personally, I felt that there were great seats wherever you sit. This was fantastic, especially if you were quite late to arrive, as you didn’t have to sit somewhere where you would miss the show.

Review: Pointless Board Game

We LOVE a games night in our home, and we’ve had a few games from University Games in the past too. Recently we went sent the Pointless Board Game and set about having a games night last weekend so we could enjoy it right away.

Pointless Board Game

The Pointless board game is obviously based on the Pointless TV show but even if you had never seen it the instructions you receive are thorough and you’ll be able to pick up this game in no time at all. It took around 5-10 minutes to read the instructions and be ready to play the game, but that is just because I like to make sure I know everything before starting. You could easily read along while you played each of the different rounds.

Visiting Manor of Groves with Buyagift’s Two Night Luxury Getaway

Recently my wonderful husband and I decided that we deserved a break. We have both been working incredibly hard recently and wanted to have a break together to recharge. We booked up a room at Manor of Groves and take a little look at what we enjoyed on our break away! Some of it at least! This is a collaborative post in association with Buyagift who provided us with a two night luxury getaway Smartbox.

Review: Burger Priest Harlow

My husband and I are lovers of eating out, however, as our daughter Daisy has FPIES, and a large array of allergies, we don’t get out as much as we would like to. Recently, while in the Harvey Centre Harlow we decided to pop into the Burger Priest Harlow on a bit of a whim.

Burger Priest Harlow Milkshakes

We started off our trip to Burger Priest Harlow with these delicious milkshakes. They were made with real ice cream and there were lots of lovely flavours to choose from. Thomas went for a strawberry one and I had chocolate. Mine had lots of lovely chocolate pieces inside and was delicious! I’m not really a fan of strawberry but I had a little sips of Thomas’ and it tasted fresh and not artificial at all.

Cleaning my mirrored furniture with the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner

We’ve got mirrored furniture. Not our best idea. When we first bought it I wanted it to give our room lots more space, and a lighter and airier feel. This worked out really well and I never regretted our choice. Until we had Daisy of course. Now the mirrored furniture in our bedroom is frequently covered with tiny fingerprints, mysterious splatters and other assorted toddler mess. I do still enjoy having the mirrored furniture, as it is so handy for looking around the room at night, checking on Daisy, making the room feel more spacious and improving the light too. Recently I was sent the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner to review and I want to let you know my thoughts on it!
