Daisy is one year old – it has gone so fast!!

I cannot believe it. I’m officially a Mum of a toddler! Happy Birthday to my beautiful girl! Daisy is one year old and it has just gone by so fast. The last year has been a whirlwind, physically and emotionally. Some days I haven’t been able to think straight from tiredness. Most days have had something amazing about them though and I’m so grateful Daisy is here. Life is feeling good and I’m getting back to my old self too now, whoever that is?! Daisy is one year old – it has gone so fast!

Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week – 17th March

Just three days until we go off on holiday now. This means that our home life is a little on the busy side. Thanks to taking part in this great linky I have been able to keep on track. I’ve been working hard to be frugal, save money and waste less. This has been working really well and I feel really positive about it. Being self-employed, and working from home, can make it hard sometimes. The lure of takeaways, and online shopping, can be high on busy days. Despite this we’ve gone all week without a takeaway and I’ve avoided impulse buys too. Here is my Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week – 17th March post.

Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week – 10th March

This week hasn’t been a fab one. Daisy and I have had some sort of bug. Achy, sick, sore tummies. The works. Fortunately being self-employed means that I’ve been able to take time off work. I’ll be spending this weekend playing catch up a little but it has been much needed rest. I’m starting to feel better now, thankfully. Daisy hasn’t been sick for 12 hours so I’m hoping we’ve turned a corner! Thinking about this linky has kept me on track, mostly. We HAVE had takeaway this week but we had a particularly bad day. After stripping the beds from Daisy being sick I just didn’t fancy cooking – neither did Tom. A good excuse I think! Here is my Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week – 10th March post.

Mindswarms Review – Earn from $50 – $75 for ONE video survey!

I’m a huge fan of making money and I’ll turn my hand to almost anything legal! Paid surveys are just one of the ways that I make money and today I want to share with you my Mindswarms review.

Mindswarm is a mobile app, and website, that allows you to get paid good sums of money for recording your answers to a survey. You can use your mobile phone camera or even the camera on a MacBook. Personally I would recommend using your phone camera as this is likely to be the higher quality of the two.

Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week – 3rd March

I’ve really been enjoying being more frugal with my money since I joined in with this fantastic weekly linky. Each week I find myself thinking of ways that I can save money – and still enjoy the life that I want to live. Being frugal to me means enjoying what you want but not spending a fortune in the process. Or not overspending.
