Living Arrows 33/52

What a week! My lovely husband and I got away for the night and Daisy had her first sleep over at Grandma’s house. It went really well. We can’t wait to go away again now in another couple of months. Anyway my living arrows 33/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said that you can find here. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 33/52 - Daddy and Daisy together

This week we let Daisy walk to the town for the first time. This is almost 1 mile of walking. She managed to walk 2/3 of the way there (up a hill) and the entire way home.

We’ve had a good week this week! My husband has been working lots but we’ve managed to get to the allotment twice. Daisy has been under the weather, with an upper respiratory tract infection. This means she has come out in a rash all over her body and isn’t feeling 100%. She doesn’t seem to be letting it hold her back though and she’s still a little ball of energy! My living arrows 32/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows 32/52 - Daisy playing with her Jack in the box

You can see here some of Daisy’s spots. Poor girl! They were covering almost her entire body by this point. Fortunately both our Mums were still willing to have Daisy for the day, so I could get some work done. They had to stay home, which is a bit boring, but Daisy still had a great time.

Living Arrows 31/52

The past week has mostly been taken up getting Daisy settled into nursery. She attended Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday and Friday we left her there alone. Wednesday she was tearful when I collected her, and had a tiny cut on her eye. Friday she was also tearful, but this was just from being overtired. The moment she got in the pram she fell asleep for an hour! Have a little look at our week as my living arrows 31/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows 31/52 - Daisy being cheeky

I know this is blurry but I just had to share – as it really sums up Daisy’s personality! She is just the cheekiest girl and is happy with the simplest things in life. Daisy is 16 months old now and I see no sign of this side of her personality going any time soon!

This was our last week together before Daisy starts nursery. I’m excited for Daisy, as I know she’ll have so much fun. Daisy is 16 months now and I can’t believe how big she is. Where has my baby gone?! Hopefully leaving her there will go well! My living arrows 30/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows 30/52 - Daisy at swimming lessons

Daisy has almost completed chapter 4 of Water Babies. I’m looking forward to writing our review post for this chapter. We’ve had the best chapter yet! After this photo was snapped I took my hands off the woggle and Daisy was able to float for a few seconds! This means she is perfecting her balance in the water and will be able to float soon! Wow. I’m so proud.

Living Arrows 29/52

So my husband has been back to work for a whole week already. In that time he has worked FIVE twelve hour shifts. Anyway, as per usual I’m keeping the family ship on the ocean and have been fitting in tending the allotment, choosing a nursery for Daisy and lots more. I love that my husband is a hard worker. I am incredibly grateful he works hard for our family – too hard sometimes. My living arrows 29/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows 29/52 - Daddy and Daisy playing together

I love seeing these two together. It makes all the hard work and sacrifices we took just to have Daisy so worth it. I still have days where I can’t believe she is ours – probably because of the 7 year wait!
