Living Arrows 17/52 – A testing week with a hospital trip!

This past week hasn’t been great, at all. Firstly, I’ve been unwell. Again. Yes I know. You’re always ill. That is what unhelpful people tell me. I’ve got immune system problems, that are bad at the moment. So yes, it probably does feel like I’m always ill. Anyway, on Wednesday last week I decided I wasn’t going to stay home and mope. I got Daisy and myself ready and off we went to Water Babies. Afterwards I had a doctors appointment and then we went to Sainsburys to do some shopping. As we left the store Daisy suffered a febrile convulsion. This lasted for 10 minutes. This Living Arrows 17/52 post gives you a brief insight in to what happened next!

Living Arrows 16/52 – A day off together (at last!)

Recently my husband has been working a vast quantity of overtime shifts. While the extra money is always nice we don’t need it. Also, I’d rather have my husband home than have extra money. I know he feels the same. However, sometimes in life you have to just suck it up and get on with it. This means I’ve been doing all of the childcare alone. It also means that my husband has barely seen Daisy for the past fortnight. I’ve been good at going down the allotment without him and just getting on with it. However, I have missed my husband lots. Fortunately we had Saturday off and half of Sunday too. So that was nice! Our Living Arrows 16/52 post is now live!

Living Arrows 15/52 – Daisy exploring our allotment

Last week was one where we just stuck to our usual routines, mostly. We had a trip down to our allotment as we had some work to do. Fortunately we timed it perfectly and when we arrived Daisy was just about to fall asleep. Thanks to the fresh air and good luck we got 1.5 hours of work done before she woke! Once she woke up we was able to entertain with snacks, a drink and some CBeebies for another 1 hour! This meant that we achieved lots and left feeling so happy. As always I love recapping our previous week and here is our Living Arrows 15/52 post

Living Arrows 14/52 – Daisy’s 1 year vaccinations!

Last week has been a bit boring compared to the previous week! We had Daisy’s 1 year vaccinations. As expected Daisy suffered some side effects and was unwell for a few days afterwards. We had some restless nights, difficulty sleeping too. Daisy was also unable to weight bear for almost an entire day afterwards. This was SO sad to see and my husband kept on saying how frail and sad she looked. Most of the past week has been spent indoors. However, we’ve played toys, enjoyed cuddles and ate nice food – that is something positive at least! Living Arrows 14/52 is now live!

Living Arrows 13/52 – Daisy’s 1st Birthday!

Last week we went on holiday! We had such a wonderful relaxing time. Also, while we were there we celebrated Daisy’s 1st Birthday. It was a wonderful week all in all. Finally Daisy and I have recovered from being unwell with various bugs and then hand, foot & mouth. All in all I feel like we’ve finally got back on track with our health and we have had an absolutely lovely past week! Living Arrows 13/52 is now live!
