AD. Regular readers will know that I am a HUGE fan of meal planning. I find that it helps me stay in control of what we eat, keeps us healthier, saves us money and also avoids stress during the busy ‘witching hour’ when our daughter is being high maintenance. Meal planning since having my daughter has become more important, so much so that I actually share my meal plans weekly. This helps me to stay accountable and just makes life a lot easier for me. Today I want to talk to you about the Reduce Your Food Spend course, which is designed to help you learn everything you need to know to meal plan effectively.

At the end of last year my husband and I tried a Gousto box for the first time. Gousto is an online company that will pick and pack the ingredients you need for an agreed recipe. The items are then sent out to you, by courier, and you can work through the recipe cards provided.
We have already received a box previously and you can read my post about that box here.

Late last year my husband and I decided to give Gousto a try. We had seen a number of online adverts and wanted to have some simple meals on hand during a time when I was rather unwell. We tried the service a few times and today I am going to share my Gousto review with you.
Gousto is an online recipe box company that will send you meals in the post. You will receive all, or almost all, of the ingredients that you require for an agreed recipe. You can choose to order for 2 or 4 people, and our box was based on 2 people. Every week they have new recipes and they can cater to meat eaters and vegetarians.
There are a vast array of ways that you can save money on your food shopping. Today I am going to share some of my favourite tips with you.
Keep a well stocked store cupboard
This has to be one of my favourite ways to save money on your food shopping. I have a number of staple items that I try to always keep in stock. I keep items for cake making, bread baking and cooking fast meals. For example I always have pasta, or pasta flour, in stock so I can make a quick pasta meal. I have a *pasta maker which allows me to make fresh pasta almost as fast as it takes to cook dry pasta.
