YouGov are one of the most well known UK survey companies. Their surveys regularly feature in a variety of newspapers and on topical panel shows on the TV also. I quick like knowing that I’ve taken part in these surveys as often they help to shape policies and political changes, which is great.
I wouldn’t say that I am going to get rich anytime soon from YouGov! I typically receive 2-3 cashouts a year now, which is down from 2015-2018 time, despite completing all of the surveys that they email me. I’m not sure if this is because of a higher panel to choose from now, or something else, but my own demographics haven’t changed much in this time.
YouGov surveys are short and sweet, typically paying 50p per survey, and they will email you when a new survey is live. Often at the end of surveys there are questions that may feed into future surveys, which means they won’t really try to send your profile surveys for you to complete for free.
I love a good survey company and I want to share with you my opinion on Opinium Research. They are a survey company I have been a member of for several years not.
I like to wait, mostly, until I have had a cashout or two, before I write about a survey company. This means I am speaking from personal experience when I recommend a company to you.
I am always on the lookout for a new survey company. I spend a lot of time on the phone, and otherwise engaged, and surveys suit me very well. If I am on the phone, on hold, I can complete questions on a survey.
Surveys requires minimal effort and I can stop and start the surveys as my time allows. Most surveys do not have a time limit on them and I find them straight forward.
When it comes to missing out on cashback half the battle is remembering to go through TopCashBack or a similar website in the first place. Missing out on cashback can be a real shame, particularly if you make a large purchase. With some retailers paying more than 10% cashback on purchases this can add up to quite a substantial amount over the year. I personally have earned more than £2,00 from TopCashBack but have probably missed out on at least several hundred more through forgetfulness! Missing cashback is something that makes me really cross when I think about it after making a purchase. I first wrote about Prolific Academic back in February 2015. I have grown to love Prolific Academic and most of their studies are fantastic. If you want to sign up you can do so *here. I thought it was about time I gave my readers a Prolific Academic update.
Survey Network is a survey company that I have been a member of for a few years now. In 2015 I started to unlock the earning potential with this company. Since then I have been able to cashout £20 per fortnight with the potential for more earnings.
Survey Network sends an email containing links to all of their daily surveys. These range from 50p upwards with the average remuneration for the daily surveys being 65p. The daily surveys on offer are from a variety of companies including SSI and the company behind the ‘Daily Surveys’ that appear on Swagbucks. The Daily Surveys on Swagbucks work out to around 35-41p depending on the reward you redeem them for, and around 54p on Clixsense. It can pay to complete the Daily Surveys on SurveyNetwork instead. Some of the SSI surveys are 50p or 65p on SurveyNetwork and start at 50p on OpinionWorld but can be higher paid in increments of 50p up to £3. Be aware of this and complete any surveys on OpinionWorld first to maximise your earning potential.
