YouGov

YouGov are one of the most well known UK survey companies. Their surveys regularly feature in a variety of newspapers and on topical panel shows on the TV also. I quick like knowing that I’ve taken part in these surveys as often they help to shape policies and political changes, which is great.

I wouldn’t say that I am going to get rich anytime soon from YouGov! I typically receive 2-3 cashouts a year now, which is down from 2015-2018 time, despite completing all of the surveys that they email me. I’m not sure if this is because of a higher panel to choose from now, or something else, but my own demographics haven’t changed much in this time.

YouGov surveys are short and sweet, typically paying 50p per survey, and they will email you when a new survey is live. Often at the end of surveys there are questions that may feed into future surveys, which means they won’t really try to send your profile surveys for you to complete for free.

Opinium Research

I love a good survey company and I want to share with you my opinion on Opinium Research. They are a survey company I have been a member of for several years not.

I like to wait, mostly, until I have had a cashout or two, before I write about a survey company. This means I am speaking from personal experience when I recommend a company to you.

I am always on the lookout for a new survey company. I spend a lot of time on the phone, and otherwise engaged, and surveys suit me very well. If I am on the phone, on hold, I can complete questions on a survey.

Surveys requires minimal effort and I can stop and start the surveys as my time allows. Most surveys do not have a time limit on them and I find them straight forward.

Use The Money Shed Survey Bible to find paid surveys

Regular readers of mine will know that I love paid surveys. Personally, I complete most of my paid surveys in around 30 minutes a day. I like to keep my emails for the day in one folder (imaginatively titled ‘Surveys’) and then I work through and delete the lower paying ones. Then I ensure that I complete my surveys as quickly and efficiently as I can. When I am looking for other ways to earn money I visit The Money Shed. The Money Shed is a UK based forum that allows me to speak to other like-minded money makers. While I am already something of a seasoned veteran when it comes to making money online even I have picked up some new websites for paid surveys and other tips.

Top 5 survey websites

I am a fan of survey websites and have been for a number of years now. Surveys are often frowned upon by people who earn money on the internet. Some people assume that surveys will pay you 50p for 30 minutes work. By being selective about the companies that you use it is possible to make a nice amount of money per month. You may never be able to work from home solely completing surveys, however, you could certainly enjoy a nice holiday or save towards a new car. You could take some of your survey earnings and use them for matched betting. This is a fantastic way to make some extra money.
