Hello loves, I hope you and your family are all keeping well. It’s such a hard time at the moment but I’m just trying to keep up with my routines and do the best I can to keep family life ticking over.
Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel really sad if we have to throw something in the bin, thinking of both the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.
Meal planning makes me feel a little more in control. It is a simple way to feel organised, eat well, avoid wasting money and do what I can to avoid food waste too.

My favourite meal plan from last week: Our weekly meal plan from Mummy Vs Work
The Meal Planning Linky Week #119
I like to plan 7 dinners for most weeks. We tend to eat 5-6 of them, rather than 7, but it means we have lots of choices and sometimes we can have a hot lunch to share if we want to.
The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #119 are:
Calzone with salad
Fish, mash & veggies
Jerk chicken (Simply Cook) and rice in the slow cooker
