Hello! Happy Friday. Another week is almost over. Tomorrow is my 32nd Birthday and so I’m looking forward to a nice weekend with my family. Thomas is on a night shift tonight, so I’ll start my Birthday with Daisy, but we’ve got some nice food planned and hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy the garden a little too. I hope you and your family are well and I can encourage you to do a little meal planning/prepping for your own family this week.
Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel really sad if we have to throw something in the bin, thinking of both the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.
Planning our meals is a great way for us to save money, stay organised and eat delicious, tasty meals. At the moment our meal times are one of the highlights of another day staying home together, and so I want to make sure we are enjoying nice food together.

For the week ahead I’ve loosely planned breakfasts and lunches, to ensure that we have enough items in, and then we are fortunate enough to have a Hello Fresh box coming for most of our dinners which I am very grateful for.

That’s it! A nice straight forward week for us. I’m looking forward to not having to plan our meals too much and everything being measured out for me. I do love the convenience of Hello Fresh, even though we’ve had some delivery issues recently.
