The Meal Planning Linky Week #122 Meal Plan

Hello! Hope you’re well and your week has been going well so far. Thomas is working this weekend so it is just Daisy and me at home! I’m looking forward to time together and taking it at a slightly slower pace than during the week. Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel really sad if we have to throw something in the bin, thinking of both the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.

Having a plan each week helps to keep us on track. I’m a big fan of budgeting and meal planning goes hand in hand with keeping a tight control on our food budget.

My favourite meal plan from last week: Mrs Shilts

The Meal Planning Linky Week #122

I’ve planned 7 dinners this week, as we aren’t really having takeaways at the moment. I’ve also got a loose plan for lunches and breakfasts, which I don’t always do.

*Get yourself £20 off your first Hello Fresh box!

The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #122 are:

Hoisin Chicken & Plum Stir Fry with Zesty Rice (Hello Fresh meal)

Cheese Burger with Wedges and Slaw (Hello Fresh meal)

Porky Pappardelle with Spinach (Hello Fresh meal)

One Pot Mexican Beef and Rice with a Cheesy Topping (Hello Fresh meal)

Veggie Shepherds Pie Recipe (Hello Fresh meal)

Slow cooker beef casserole with dumplings

Fish, air fryer wedges and vegetables

That’s it! A nice straight forward week for us. I’m looking forward to not having to plan our meals too much and everything being measured out for me. I do love the convenience of Hello Fresh, even though we’ve had some delivery issues recently.

I do love the HF boxes, it makes everything just so easy and I hate the stress getting everything ready for dinner. Some great meals this week x

Joined up for the first time here. Having to do 7 dinners a week has been a shock as I usually only have to cook 3 dinners a week, but meal planning is going well so far, and only a couple of complaints from N (and none from the OH – whoop!)
