Morning. Happy Friday. Almost another week closer to everything being back to ‘normal’, or whatever the new version of normal will be. I still haven’t been outside, for almost 2 months now, and feel a little nervous at things starting to change again. For now I’m just trying to stay safe and calm at home. As always I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.
Having a plan each week helps to keep us on track. I’m a big fan of budgeting and meal planning goes hand in hand with keeping a tight control on our food budget.

My favourite meal plan from last week: 3 week plan with keto meal plan alternatives
The Meal Planning Linky Week #123
I’ve planned 7 dinners this week, as we aren’t really having takeaways at the moment. I’ve also got a loose plan for lunches and breakfasts, which I don’t always do.
The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #123 are:
Prince Harry’s chicken pie with mushrooms and carrots (Hello Fresh)
Sweet chilli beef with noodles, veggies & sesame seeds (Hello Fresh)
Roasted cod with mini roast potatoes, tomato & samphire salsa (Hello Fresh)
Crumbed chicken burger with sriracha mayo & ginger carrot slaw (Hello Fresh)
Herby sausage bolognese with cheesy garlic bread (Hello Fresh)
Slow cooker beef casserole with dumpling (Shin of beef)
Tandoori chicken with slow cooker rice & veggies
That’s it! A nice straight forward week for us. I’m looking forward to not having to plan our meals too much and everything being measured out for me. I do love the convenience of Hello Fresh.
