Hello! Happy Friday. Another week is almost over! Next week Thomas is off work so I’m looking forward to lots of family time. We’re still loving the Hello Fresh boxes, so I have one of those for next week to make meal times easier.
I love the convenience of it, and have been fortunate to get some nice credit from other people signing up for a discount box too!
Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel really sad if we have to throw something in the bin, thinking of both the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food.
I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.

Planning our meals is a great way for us to save money, stay organised and eat delicious, tasty meals.
At the moment our meal times are one of the highlights of another day staying home together, and so I want to make sure we are enjoying nice food together.

The Meal Planning Linky Week #126
For the week ahead I’ve loosely planned breakfasts and lunches, to ensure that we have enough items in, and then we are fortunate enough to have a Hello Fresh box coming for most of our dinners which I am very grateful for.
*Get yourself £20 off your first Hello Fresh box!
The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #126 are:
Hello Fresh: Cheesy Crusted Cod with Spring Green Colcannon
Hello Fresh: Pan-Fried Chicken with Spiced Creamy Lentils
Hello Fresh: Roast Chicken Breast with Mini Roasties, Veggies and Gravy
Hello Fresh: Quick Creamy Prawn Rigatoni with Zesty Herby Sprinkle and Courgette
Curry night with my slow cooker chicken curry, rice in the slow cooker, naan and a few sides I’m sure!
Simply Cook: (lamb kofte kebabs)
That’s it! A nice straight forward week for us. I’m looking forward to not having to plan our meals too much and everything being measured out for me.
I do love the convenience of Hello Fresh, even though we’ve had some delivery issues recently.

I'll be on the curry too - no slow cooker though unfortunately! But the recipe isn't a long one. I've been struggling to buy replacement garam masala all throughout lockdown, has anyone else had this problem??

I've had a big stock in already, as I buy in bulk, but what about making your own garam masala blend?

What a treat to have Thomas off work. Enjoy your time together. Great meal plan. I think my favourite meal of yours is the Roast chicken. You can't beat a roast dinner x

It's so nice to see how HelloFresh are working for you, juggling working from home with a child can result in bad food choices (as we've talked about before) so when you find something that just works it's lovely.
