Hello! I hope you’re well! I’m amazed that September is here, and in just a few days Daisy will be starting school. I can hardly wait now to see what she thinks, and what she learns in her first year! I’ve planned these dinners in advance, and I’m looking forward to taking some photographs and getting some recipes written up for this blog!
Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel pretty rubbish if we have to throw something away, usually thinking of the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food around the world. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.

This week I’m doing lots of great slow cooker dinners. I’m also going to have 1 or 2 nights where we eat Vegetarian and we will be using up one *Simply Cook kit too.
I’ve been meal planning for well over 2 years now pretty much every single week. It is a great way for us to save money and I really enjoy having a nice variety of meals to choose from each week.
Each week other lovely bloggers link up their meal plans, to try and share recipes around with one another, inspire each other and hopefully drive a little bit of extra traffic too! I really enjoy running this linky and seeing what meals everyone is cooking that week.

Good luck to Daisy! And you too.... I am amazed at how much you do in your slow cooker. The stroganoff is right up my street.

I hope the start to school goes well for Daisy. I think I might need to put a beef pie on my plan for next week.
