The Meal Planning Linky Week #143 Meal Plan

Happy Friday, I hope your week has been a good one. We’re settling into the routine of school, and I’m just trying to make the most of every day to ensure that I am maximising the child free time so I can be present for my family in the afternoons and on the weekends. I’m loving it so far! Sorry that I missed last week, we had a cold and I was feeling rough so just skipped it and went for some easy freezer dinners!

Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel pretty rubbish if we have to throw something away, usually thinking of the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food around the world. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.

This week I am using up some Simply Cook meal kits that I have in my pantry. You can get a *FREE Simply Cook box for yourself (new customers only). I love the kits, as they help me make a delicious meal, and they’re not too expensive either!

I’ve been meal planning for well over 2 years now pretty much every single week. It is a great way for us to save money and I really enjoy having a nice variety of meals to choose from each week.

Air fryer tortilla chips, slow cooker rice, no yeast flatbreads and slow cooker chorizo loaded potatoes - what to serve with fajitas

Each week other lovely bloggers link up their meal plans, to try and share recipes around with one another, inspire each other and hopefully drive a little bit of extra traffic too! I really enjoy running this linky and seeing what meals everyone is cooking that week.
