The Meal Planning Linky Week #147 Meal Plan

Good morning! I hope you’re well. One week of our half term has already flown by – and it’s been lovely so far. Lazier mornings, more time together to play toys and relax and lots of film afternoons too! I’m still feeling sick a lot, so this coming week I’ve gone with a mix of simple dinners from the supermarket as well as a Hello Fresh box! *Get £20 off for new customers.

Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. I feel really sad if we have to throw something in the bin, thinking of both the environmental impact and the fact that other people struggle to afford food. I am always trying to take steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries.

Katykickers weekly meal planning linky

I’ve been meal planning for several years now pretty much weekly. It is a great way for us to save money and I really enjoy having a nice variety of meals to choose from each week.

Each week other lovely bloggers link up their meal plans, to try and share recipes around with one another, inspire each other and hopefully drive a little bit of extra traffic too! I really enjoy running this linky and seeing what meals everyone is cooking that week.

Great week of meals. When we have some spare cash I would love to get a Hello Fresh box again as the first one we had was amazing.

I find that sometimes they send 30% off offers, that's what made me re-order this time. However, I will say I've been a bit disappointed. A few mouldy items and a whole recipe missing!

We are on day one of half term and it's been lovely not having to rush around. So sorry you are still feeling sick. You do right going for easy to make meals. x

It’s tough to plan food if you are feeling nauseous. Don’t blame you for going for nice easy things. Take it easy this week.

Thank you. Actually managed to cook from scratch a lot, and eat more veggies than I have done in recent weeks too which is good. I hope you're keeping well! x
