Happy New Year! I hope that 2021 is a better one for us all… I say slightly worried about jinxing us!

This month I’m going to be setting a firm budget of a maximum of £250 for groceries. Recently we have used Hello Fresh a lot, which has been great, but they can be a little expensive, so I’m just going to have ONE box this month. If you’ve never used them you can (*Grab £46 off your first 3 boxes) as a new customer.

This week I’m looking forward to being a little more hands on with my cooking, and practicing some of my recipes again!

Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. It also helps us to save money and avoiding overspending on groceries. It feels more important than ever at the moment as we’re in tier 4 here in Essex and really want to minimise our supermarket trips as much as we physically can.

I’ve been meal planning for several years now pretty much weekly. It is a great way for us to save money and I really enjoy having a nice variety of meals to choose from each week.

Each week other lovely bloggers link up their meal plans, to try and share recipes around with one another, inspire each other and hopefully drive a little bit of extra traffic too! I really enjoy running this linky and seeing what meals everyone is cooking that week.

We need to use our air fryer more, it's so handy for all sorts of things. Sorry for slight delay in replying. Lockdown and back at home threw me for a loop and I am catching up!

It is such a convenient way to have a dinner ready at the end of the day. Also, for us it avoids those last minute splurges on takeaways!

Happy new year! Wishing you all the best for 2021! I love the sound of all of your meals, especially the slow cooker one's. We're having pulled pork this week but I just bought a couple of frozen packs. I should really make my own. Enjoy your Chinese takeaway x

Thank you so much, nothing wrong with a frozen pack, I've found those to have lots of flavour too! Happy New Year too x
