Happy Friday – I hope this week has gone as fast as it has for me! Home schooling is underway here, as I’m sure it is for many of you too!

I feel that meal planning is even more important now, as we need to save some money for all the snacks that Daisy likes to consume during the day!

This month I’ve set a budget of £250 for groceries. Recently we have used Hello Fresh a lot, which has been great, but they can be a little expensive, so I’m just going to have ONE box this month. If you’ve never used them you can (*Grab £46 off your first 3 boxes) as a new customer.

This week I’m looking forward to being a little more hands on with my cooking, and continuing with some of my favourite recipes again!

Meal planning helps us to have low food waste which is really important to me. It also helps us to save money and avoiding overspending on groceries.

I’ve been meal planning for several years now pretty much weekly. It is a great way for us to save money and I really enjoy having a nice variety of meals to choose from each week.

Each week other lovely bloggers link up their meal plans, to try and share recipes around with one another, inspire each other and hopefully drive a little bit of extra traffic too! I really enjoy running this linky and seeing what meals everyone is cooking that week.

The slow cooker meals are so handy at the moment with having to juggle everything. I have never thought about doing the lasagne or jacket potatoes in the slow cooker. These are something I might have to try while we are still in lockdown again

Hope the home-schooling is going ok. We're still carrying on as normal here in France - schools are open so it's just the usual mad rush ! I quite fancy the idea of a lockdown to be honest - it would be nice to have a bit more downtime ! Loving this week's menu plan - I always keep going "oh, didn't know you could make that in a slow cooker" - I need to play around with mine a bit more !

Yeah I fancied the idea, until it happened (3 times now haha), it's SO boring not being able to leave home! I hope that things stay well for you there x
