Well, that’s it, the final week of the school holidays are over for us!
Meal planning has helped us stay organised with meals, and avoid having many takeaways at all. I’m really pleased with our food spending, especially as I shared on my Instagram a while ago that new customers can get 4 meals for 2 adults for just £14 with my *Gousto referral link and it was VERY popular! I also have a *Grab £46 off your first 3 boxes for new customers which has been popular too in the last few days and I’ve got lots of lovely credit.
The credit has allowed us to have extra special meals delivered, the ingredients at least, and I’m so glad! We have been eating really well and have been able to calorie count and portion control better too.
I’m really grateful to all the credit, but also love that other people are meal planning with ease too in the process!

Knowing what we’re going to have for dinner is great, and takes away some of the stress of the day. It is a great way to save some time and effort, and I like just picking up the recipe card and getting on! It’s nice not to have to think about dinner in advance, and just know that I’ve selected a meal for a specific day from Gousto, or Hello Fresh etc, that works well for what we have planned for that day.
I have been trying lots of new foods, and have realised I LOVE prawns, and air fryer prawn toast, which I didn’t know before!
Anyway, one with the meal plan!
Each week other lovely bloggers link up their meal plans, to try and share recipes around with one another, inspire each other and hopefully drive a little bit of extra traffic too! I really enjoy running this linky and seeing what meals everyone is cooking that week.

How to link up with The Meal Planning Linky Week #192
My favourite meal plan from last week’s linky:
The Meal Planning Linky Week #192
Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine
Gousto: Calabrese Pizza With ‘NdujaMushroom Linguine
Gousto: Nigerian-Style Chicken Skewers With Coconut Fried Rice
Gousto: Smoky Spanish Chicken With Patatas Bravas & Aioli
Gousto: Sticky Honey Mustard Posh Dogs With Chips
Gousto: Creamy Lemon Chicken Linguine With Cheesy Crumble
Gousto: Chicken Pad Thai With Rainbow Veg
Breakfast will be kept simple on the return back to work.: air fryer cheese crumpets , toast and cereal. I may make a bacon, sausage and egg wrap too – with chicken sausages and air fryer bacon to be a little healthier while still packing in the protein.
Lunches will be things like tuna and crackers, air fryer chicken tikka wraps and maybe a Subway.
I have been making individual flapjacks, air fryer fruit scones and midnight cookies too as Daisy is LOVING the snacks at the moment and seems to be growing even faster than normal!

The chicken burger sounds yummy. I have never thought of making scones in an air fryer. I might give those a go at some point. Have a good week.

It was SO good!
The scones don't have quite the rise of the oven BUT they are delicious, great to make in a rush when you've got unexpected guests you want to wow and they are tasty too.
