Meal planning is something that I have really come to love in recent months. Meal planning helps us avoid buying takeaways, helps us to eat healthier meals and has become an important part of my organisational week. Being able to look at a meal plan, and choose what we are going to eat, takes some of the stress away from our day. Today I’m sharing the Meal Planning Linky Week #31.
By holding myself accountable, with a meal plan, I am making healthier choices for us. We are cutting out on the takeaways, preparing food from scratch and saving ourselves money too. I have switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and this has helped our grocery budget too.

The Meal Planning Linky Week #31
I will be planning 5 meals each week. This leaves 2 days per week for using up leftovers, dining out or visiting family for dinner. We don’t have set days for our meals, as I prefer to decide in the morning which of the meals we want and what fits in with our plans.
My meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #31 are:
Pulled pork with brioche buns and airfryer chips
Fresh pasta, pasta sauce and garlic bread
Chicken curry, rice & naan bread
Salt & pepper chicken with slow cooker rice
Snacks: Chocolate chip muffins
My *triple slow cooker is really helpful when I want to make us a slow cooker dinner. I’m able to make us the main dish, a side dish and cook a separate meal for Daisy too. Most of this week’s dinners are Daisy friendly so I won’t have to do that much extra cooking for her. Yay!
If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about how to stretch a roast chicken.

I have been neglecting my slow cooker. Your slow cooker curry has inspired me to get it out and dust it off. Thank you!

Pulled pork in brioche buns sound so delicious, and we're having nachos this week too as well as baking muffins. I really need to get my girls making fresh pasta, fab activity for the school holidays, edible entertainment - as long as they clean up and wash the dishes.
