I’m a BIG fan of meal planning! Being able to save money, and avoid takeaways is great for our waistline and our budget too. For us, the main area where we go wrong with eating healthy is not planning dinners and not meal planning before we go shopping. Since we have become more motivated and begun meal planning, we feel more organised at home and we are eating healthier too. As well as sharing my own meal plan this week I’m inviting other bloggers to take part and share their meal plans. Hopefully, this will give our readers lots of meal planning inspiration! The Meal Planning Linky Week #48 Meal Plan is now live!

Meal planning allows me to remove some of the day to day stress from my life. My husband works shifts so he goes out to work at 5 pm sometimes. This means we need an early dinner and it falls right in the middle of Daisy’s bedtime routine.
By posting my meal plan weekly I want to make healthier choices, cut out takeaways, cook from scratch and save lots of money. I’ve also switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and I’ve been saving a LOT of money so far.

The Meal Planning Linky Week #48
I’ll be planning 6 meals this week. This leaves 1 day a week for eating leftovers, dining out or visiting friends and family for dinner. We don’t have set days for our meals, as I prefer to decide in the morning which of the meals we want and what fits in with our day’s plans.
This weeks favourite meal plan: Super healthy meal plan from Shoestring Cottage
My meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #48 are:
Sausage & mash with veg & my ultimate onion gravy
Fish, chips & beans
Chicken filo pie with veggies
Thai chicken curry & pilau rice with naan
Pizzas with air fryer garlic bread
As you can see it is a really easy week this week! I’m not going to be putting much effort into meals, as we’ve got other things on, but we’ll still avoid the takeaway hopefully!
If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.

Sausage & mash is such a perfect meal for this time of year. My girls would eat it every evening given the chance. Good luck with avoiding the takeaway. I am trying to do the same. I need to save for Christmas. Eek x

Loving the look and sound of the chicken filo pies and vegetables. Filo pastry is so nice to work with and has so many uses too. Thanks for your inspiration this week.
