Hello! Hope your Christmas went well! It is already that time of the week for me to share the meal planning linky! This week I’m going to be having a week where we just try and use up what we can basically! There will be lots of cheese, and meat, no doubt but I’m also going to be adding lots of veggies to bulk out our meals and hopefully feel a little bit less sluggish too! This week will be another very loose week of meals but next week I will be back to normal service! I’m still hosting the linky over the festive period! If you don’t want to join in don’t worry, come on back in the New Year and I’ll be here as predictable as ever!

Meal planning allows me to alleviate some of the stress from my life. Knowing that we have food in for various dinners, and a range of different dinners, helps me on a day where I am having a flare-up. I love being able to look in the morning, or even the night before and decide what we are going to have for dinner. If we get busy unexpectedly then we often have a slow cooker meal on the go. By holding myself accountable, with a meal plan, I am making healthier choices for us. We are cutting out on the takeaways, preparing food from scratch and saving ourselves money too. I have switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and this has helped our grocery budget too.

We will eat another roast dinners, lots of party food and use up what we have in. I’ll be cooking spaghetti & meatballs, a pie and maybe an air fryer mac and cheese with camembert!
