The Meal Planning Linky Week #75 Meal Plan

Happy Friday! I hope that the week has been a great one for you. It has for me. I’m back on track with work, chores and family life after my operation and feeling really good. I love seeing what everyone is linking up and getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I’m running this weekly meal planning linky, that allows other bloggers to share their meal plans too. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.

It doesn’t take me long to meal plan. I sit down once a week, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday, and look at what groceries we have available. Then I think about the different meals that we haven’t had recently, or look online for some inspiration. I then place my Tesco shop online. In the past, I switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and saved over 30%! I don’t always want to go out in the car and browse the aisles so I find online shopping really convenient. This week we have gone to Aldi though, and the saving was really worthwhile for us. I saved around £21 versus shopping at Tesco.

The Meal Planning Linky Week #75

This week I have planned 7 dinners. Tom is going to be on night shifts from Monday so I want to be organised.

The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #75 are:

Monday: Pasta bake with homemade garlic bread

Tuesday: Slow cooker hunters chicken with airfryer chips

Wednesday: Beef hotpot with vegetables

Thursday: Slow cooker chicken curry with slow cooker rice & naan

Friday: Slow cooker cottage pie

Saturday: Chicken katsu with sticky rice

Sunday: Katy out so easy meal for Tom (Find something in Aldi)

If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.

It's a great way to have dinner sitting waiting for you and avoid the lure of the takeaway too!

I'm glad you have recovered and are back on track with everything! It sounds like you have a wonderful week of meals planned. I am going to have to try your hunters chicken. My youngest has a thing for it at the moment. x
