Happy Friday! I hope that the week has been a great one for you. It has for me. I’m back on track with work, chores and family life after my operation and feeling really good. I love seeing what everyone is linking up and getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I’m running this weekly meal planning linky, that allows other bloggers to share their meal plans too. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.

It doesn’t take me long to meal plan. I sit down once a week, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday, and look at what groceries we have available. Then I think about the different meals that we haven’t had recently, or look online for some inspiration. I then place my Tesco shop online. In the past, I switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and saved over 30%! I don’t always want to go out in the car and browse the aisles so I find online shopping really convenient. This week we have gone to Aldi though, and the saving was really worthwhile for us. I saved around £21 versus shopping at Tesco.

My favourite meal plan from last week was: Meal Plan Monday from Spencers Arc

The Meal Planning Linky Week #75

This week I have planned 7 dinners. Tom is going to be on night shifts from Monday so I want to be organised.

The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #75 are:

Easy homemade garlic bread - look at the bread once it has been dressed! Delicious

Monday: Pasta bake with homemade garlic bread

Slow cooker hunters chicken with chips - A look at the finished dish

Tuesday: Slow cooker hunters chicken with airfryer chips

Beef hotpot

Wednesday: Beef hotpot with vegetables

Slow cooker chicken curry - a look at the curry once it is ready!

Thursday: Slow cooker chicken curry with slow cooker rice & naan

Slow cooker cottage pie filling - the ingredients

Friday: Slow cooker cottage pie

Saturday: Chicken katsu with sticky rice

Sunday: Katy out so easy meal for Tom (Find something in Aldi)

I absolutely love my *triple slow cooker. It helps me to batch cook, make a separate meal for Daisy and I can even make side dishes too!

If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.

If you enjoyed this post I’d love it if you could pin it on Pinterest!

A tasty meal plan week for the whole family that is frugal too. #mealplanning #frugal #food #slowcooker #chicken

Great meal plan. Such a nice variety that keeps you motivated to keep it up. I now have the Ras El Hanout so I am looking forward to trying your Lamb burgers from last week. Will let you know what we think.

I’ve promised my son a slow cooker chicken curry, but have decided to do lamb this week, so he’ll have to wait a little longer. Thanks for hosting.
