Happy Friday! I hope this week has been kind to you. Nothing much going on here, just working and the usual life stuff. Thomas has had a week off work, which has been great, so we’ve had lots of time together. Each week I bring you my meal plan and provide an area for other bloggers to link up (see below). I love seeing what everyone is linking up and getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.
It doesn’t take me long to meal plan. I sit down once per week, often on a Thursday, & look at what groceries we have leftover from the previous week. Then I think about the different meals that we haven’t had recently, or look online for some inspiration. I then place my Tesco shop online. In the past, I switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and saved over 30%! On the weeks when I don’t have the energy I will place an online shop with Tesco or Sainsburys. Other weeks I visit Aldi. For this meal plan I’ll be shopping at Aldi and hopefully spend under £50!

My favourite meal plan from last week was: Meal Plan from The Mum Diaries
The Meal Planning Linky Week #81
This week I have planned 7 dinners. Thomas is back to work and I’m hoping to avoid too many takeaways or meals out as we over-indulged last week on nice lunches and trips out!
The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #81 are:
Pork & parsnip traybake with mash and onion gravy
Chicken burgers in buns with airfryer chips
Slow cooker beef chilli (which I’m serving on nachos)
Slow cooker cottage pie (made with turkey mince)
Homemade pizza night using pizza dough in the breadmaker
Slow cooker whole chicken dinner with all the trimmings (airfryer roast potatoes, sage & onion stuffing, onion gravy & more)
Spaghetti carbonara (Homemade sauce)
I absolutely love my *triple slow cooker. It helps me to batch cook, make a separate meal for Daisy and I can even make side dishes too!
If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.
