Happy Friday! Hopefully by the time you’re reading this you’ve had a great week and are gearing up for a fun weekend. Nothing much going on with us, just working and the usual life stuff. Thomas has the weekend off so I’m looking forward to some downtime together. Every week I share with you my meal plan and provide an area for other bloggers to link up (see below). I love seeing what everyone is linking up, cooking each week and also getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.

It doesn’t take me long to meal plan. I sit down once per week, usually Thursday, & look at what groceries we have leftover from the previous week. Then I think about the different meals that we haven’t had recently, or look online for some inspiration. I then place my Tesco shop online. In the past, I switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and saved over 30%! Lately, I have been using Sainsburys to shop online. I’ve had a few issues with my deliveries BUT they have been giving me fantastic discounts, for example, my latest shop was £68 reduced to around £45 with two voucher codes I could combine. Wow!

My favourite meal plan from last week was: Meal Planning Monday from Life of An Auntie
The Meal Planning Linky Week #83
This week I have planned 7 dinners. We are staying away from the takeaway and using up a lot of items we have leftover from previous weeks when the meal plan has gone a little awry.
The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #83 are:
Pork & parsnip traybake with mash and onion gravy
Balsamic glazed slow cooker gammon, egg & homemade airfryer chips
Toad in the hole with roasted veggies
Air fryer frozen fish and chips
Slow cooker chilli (made with turkey mince)
Sausage, mash & beans
I absolutely love my triple slow cooker. It helps me to batch cook, make a separate meal for Daisy and I can even make side dishes too!
If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.
