Happy Friday! I hope your week has been a good one so far. I’m REALLY looking forward to the weekend, as Thomas is off work and we’re going to enjoy some nice family time together. Since moving house I’ve found meal planning really fun. I’ve got a new multi-cooker I’m using and this means we’re testing out lots of our favourite recipes. We’re still having the odd takeaway treat but we are shopping local. Also, we are walking there, to avoid minimum spends, and save ourselves some money in the process. I want to be able to save money, where possible, get a few bargains and make the most of everything we have in. I’m loving getting back to meal planning and really excited about normality returning to our life after a busy few weeks. Meal planning helps us to stay organised and saves us money too. Every week I share with you my meal plan for the coming week and provide a post for other bloggers to link up (see below). I love seeing what everyone is linking up meal plan wise, cooking each week and also getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money-saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.

I sit down once per week & see what groceries we have leftover from the previous week. Then I think about the different meals that we haven’t had recently, or look online for some inspiration. I then place my Sainsburys shop online. In the past, I switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and saved over 30%! Recently I have been shopping at Sainsburys. They have been sending me vouchers each week for £10.50 off my shop, which is great, and has been allowing me to re-stock my pantry after our house move.

My favourite meal plan from last week was: Weekly meal plan from Life As Kim

The Meal Planning Linky Week #95

This week I have planned 7 dinners. I have a new multi-cooker that I am using and I’m really enjoying it so far.

The meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #95 are:

Slow cooker chicken nachos

Slow cooker chicken nachos

Spaghetti bolognese

A week of slow cooker dinners Slow-cooker-chicken-curry

Slow cooker chicken curry with rice & naan

Bolognese pasta bake

Bolognese pasta bake

The Slow cooker chicken and prawn paella with chorizo added

Slow cooker chicken & prawn paella

Moroccan lamb burgers

Moroccan lamb burgers & airfryer chips

Slow cooker hunters chicken with chips - A look at the finished dish

Slow cooker hunters chicken & air fryer wedges

I absolutely love my *triple slow cooker. It helps me to batch cook, make a separate meal for Daisy and I can even make side dishes too! I think I will be donating this to a family member soon and switching to just having a multi-cooker.

If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.

If you enjoyed this post I’d love it if you could pin it on Pinterest!

It is fab when you move house and find the meal planning more fun. I found that when we moved. I now buy the meat from the local butchers and fruit & veg from the farm shop.
All of your meals sound so tasty!

I would never have thought about making Paella in the slow cooker if it had not been on your meal plan. It is really amazing what you can making in a slow cooker to be honest. I love reading your meal plans and getting some inspiration

Ooh, let me know how you get on with the multicooker – I’ve got one on my Amazon wish list as I’ve read such great things about them. I hoping the other half might take the hint and get me one for Christmas 🙂
