Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week. We’ve been enjoying a family holiday and so I’ve not had to meal plan this week which has made a nice change. I’m looking forward to getting back on track next week but for now, I’ve only got to plan a few meals. Every week I share with you my meal plan for the coming week and provide a post for other bloggers to link up (see below). I love seeing what everyone is linking up meal plan wise, cooking each week and also getting inspiration for my own meal plan. I hope that this will help people to find lots of inspiration, delicious recipes and maybe read some helpful blog posts about meal planning and money-saving. Don’t forget to check out my post to help you avoid overspending on your groceries.
I sit down once per week & see what groceries we have leftover from the previous week. Then I think about the different meals that we haven’t had recently, or look online for some inspiration. I then place my Tesco shop online. In the past, I switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and saved over 30%! I have been shopping at Sainsburys recently, as they keep giving me £10.50 off £70 shops, and this allows me to stock up on Daisy’s favourite foods too.

I’ve never had a pressure cooker. My mum had one when we were kids and it seemed dangerous! Are they worth having?
I think they’ve changed considerably now. I’ve got a multi-cooker, but haven’t used it enough to give a full opinion on it just yet. It CAN burn you, so potentially is dangerous, but I’ve been following the instructions when I need to open the valve. There is an option to leave it an additional 10 minutes and it will ‘self-vent’ to remove the bulk of the steam slowly over that time.
sounds a lovely meal plan and i adore the nachos in fact we must have them soon
Hope you like them! x
Your meal plan sounds delicious, I think I am going to give those nacho’s a go on my fussy children as I’m sure they would love them!
Thanks so much – hope you like them x
Pressure cookers are something which I might need to look out for on black friday because you seem to make some amazing meals using yours
I’m loving it! x
I am absolutely going to give your slow cooker whole roast chicken dinner a try – I will let you know how I get on! 🙂
Oh yay! I can’t wait to see what you think xx
