TopCashBack review

Earning cashback on purchases feels like an absolute no brainer for me! You’re ALREADY making a purchase, so why wouldn’t you want to make some money back in the process? TopCashBack allows you to do just that – and as I’ve been a member of TopCashBack for quite a few years I thought I’d give you a little TopCashBack review and share my thoughts.

Cashback is SO satisfying. It takes next to no time to click through a website, and you can really earn anything from 1% to 50%, depending on the website you’re visiting, whether you’re a new customer and what you’re purchasing.

1% sounds like it might not be worth the effort, but with the average consumer spending £100s every month on shopping you’re missing out on free £s every month!

There are multiple cashback websites, and I’ll share a little more about those later on too, but TopCashBack has to be the original and best one for me! I’ve used it for years, and so far I’ve made over £3,000!

You don’t need to be a big shopper to make money from cashback website, as they also pay you for signing up (nice)! and they have free offers you can complete too. These could be entering competitions, requesting a freebie or even searching for an insurance quotation.

I would say that *I use TopCashBack around 95% of the time but I do use *Quidco too. There are other passive cashback websites, where you don’t need to click through, such as Airtime Rewards, and I use those too.

Often the cashback amounts on offer are fantastic. I also pay £5 per year to be a TopCashBack Plus member, and this comes with increases % cashback on most purchases and is absolutely so worthwhile for me.

Here is a screenshot of my account from January 2022:

A screenshot of a topcashback account. It says £62.97 outstanding, £3,062.88 paid and £3,125.85 total. Then there are links to view all earnings and view dashboard.

As you can see I’ve made a few nice pennies! I’ve been a member for a few years now so I’ve had cashback on everything from holidays to insurance and even takeaways! Yum!

My favourite websites to earn cashback from:

Some of my favourite websites in the last year in particular have been Halfords, Just-Eat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Gousto, Argos, Hermes, Etsy and purchasing gift cards from TopCashBack for to help me save for Christmas and Birthdays.

There are hundreds of merchants just waiting to award you cashback via TopCashBack, and other cashback sites.

This is free money for purchases that you would have made anyway.

There are even exclusive discounts and voucher codes available via TopCashBack too for many sites. What are you waiting for – *sign up to TopCashBack today!

It is free to join and you get awarded 100% of their cashback. Payouts are available via Paypal, BACS, Amazon and more. What’s more their members made over £25,000,000 in just one year alone!

Make cashback without remembering to visit a website with Airtime Rewards:

How to use TopCashBack:

It’s REALLY simple. Sign up or login to the TopCashBack website, search for the merchant you want to earn cashback from, click through and then shop as normal. If the merchant isn’t there then try Quidco OR see if there is an alternative website you can purchase the item for the same price for, to help you secure more cashback.

Be sure to read all of the terms on the TopCashBack website, as sometimes you won’t earn cashback if you use voucher codes or unauthorised links. Also, if you click another link from Google etc, then the cashback won’t track to TopCashBack, so do bear that in mind!

Is TopCashBack free?

Yes, there is a paid membership, which comes with some benefits, so just be sure that you’re not signed up to that if you don’t want to use it.

If you do sign up for the Plus account the £5 annual fee can be taken when you cash out some of your earnings. I honestly always forget about this, until I cashout, and see they’ve took the £5!

How does TopCashBack make money?

Adverts and sponsored links help TopCashBack to make money. Merchants, and the agencies, who provide the links, also pay TopCashBack bonuses. You can read more about this here.

I forgot to use TopCashBack what can I do about this?

Not much! If you didn’t click through then the cashback won’t track, there won’t be a cookie and TopCashBack support won’t be able to help you with this either.

Consider downloading the TopCashBack browser add on to make sure you don’t miss out on cashback, as it’ll give you a little reminder to click through before you shop! Alternatively pop a little sticker on your bank card to remind you to check before you type those digits in when checking out a shop online!

What I think of my favourite of the cashback sites – TopCashBack

Cashback sites provide a good way to earn money back for purchases that you were already going to make. My top tip with cashback sites, regardless of which ones they are, would be never to rely on the cashback.

Never factor the cashback in when purchasing an item. I have had several occasions where cashback has been declined. Usually this is resolved easily, with a support ticket, but not always.

On one occasion I had a large contract switch purchase that just NEVER wanted to move from pending to approved so I could receive the money. I think this was because I ended up having to complete the payment by phone. The TopCashBack support were very helpful and eventually as a gesture of goodwill they offered me half the money, which I was happy enough with.

On occasion I’ve missed a term or condition, such as not using additional voucher codes. Do not rely on cashback – think of it as an added bonus!

Membership is free so why not sign up?! You’ll *earn me a nice bonus when you complete your first cashout too thanks so much!
