I love reading, but never seem to find the time. That is why I have started this monthly post. Reading is a great way to expand my knowledge in a particular subject, improve myself as a person and find time to relax. Each month I want to share with you what books I have been reading. I’ll be talking about a wide variety of books, although my favourites are self help, autobiography and chicklit!
What I’ve been reading – July 2017 edition
What I’ve been reading & loved
*Confessions Of A Domestic Failure – I was looking for a bit of light hearted reading and this didn’t disappoint. This book features Ashley Keller, a career girl who is now a stay-at-home Mum trying to carve her way in the World. The World obsessed with Pinterest crafts, Instagram images and perfect lives shown off on Facebook. This resonated with me and there were some REALLY funny parts in this book! I read this on car journeys and really enjoyed it.
*The Million Dollar Blog – I re-read this to get me fired up for blogging again. It has been really motivational and I’ve now made a list of blog posts I want to write between now and the end of September. This book is great for improving motivation and it was good to re-read it.
*Go The F**K To Sleep – I read this to Daisy. It was pretty good and she seemed to enjoy it! Very tongue in cheek this book.
What I’ve been reading and have not loved
Nothing this month! No time wasted on rubbish books here.
What I’m planning on reading next
*Paul Hollywood’s Pies and Puds – Looking forward to making some recipes out of this! Yum.
*The Unmumsy Mum – I’ve heard good things about this. I’m sure I started reading it when Daisy was tiny but got side tracked and never went back to it.
Got a suggestion of a great book for me? Why not leave me a comment or send me a message over on Twitter. I’m always interested in new books, and trying to improve myself in the process.
If you enjoyed this post I’d love it if you could pin it on Pinterest!
