AD – Gifted. I am the proud Auntie to LOTS of nieces and nephews (more than 10!) and therefore Christmas is a busy time for me. I’m a lover of getting something a little different and I tend to check with parents before I buy presents. Recently I was speaking to my brother about what his boys wanted for Christmas and he was a little bit vague. I decided to use my own initiative and place an order to get a few more presents ticked off this Christmas.

Wicked Uncle Review - How our items arrived

Browsing the Wicked Uncle website was really easy. There are lots of different categories of gift to choose from to help you find something perfect. The categories included ‘brainiac’, outdoorsy’ and ‘adventurer’. It was also possible to browse presents based on age which was fantastic. I picked up lots of inspiration while browsing the website.

The order process with Wicked Uncle

This was straight forward. Adding items to my basket took one click and checking out, even with my voucher code, was very easy. While in the shopping basket there was a section called ‘Little somethings’ and I was encouraged to pick up a stocking filler for my lovely husband from here too.

Once my order was complete I received an email to confirm that my order had been made. This was well laid out, and easy to understand.

Delivery from Wicked Uncle

Before the order was delivered I was provided with a tracking number and a website to track my order. This was very straight forward and I love that there is no paperwork provided within the box – which was advised on this email too. It just means that there are no people to see what you ordered once you have hidden the presents and forgotten to hide the box!

Delivery itself was via Royal Mail and was straight forward.

As you can see the items were well packaged and there was no huge wasted box. There were more air pockets on the top of the presents to protect them. I like air pockets as you can just burst them with scissors and they take up next to no space in the bin.

Overall opinion of Wicked Uncle

I’ve been really pleased with the quality of this website. I love that there are categories and also suggestions based on age. Obviously some of the suggestions span different ages but it was a great guideline to work with. I was able to find presents for my different aged nephews and one present for my niece too.

What did I order from Wicked Uncle?

Wicked Uncle Review - A photograph of the goodies we ordered

For less than £40 I was able to get four Christmas presents for my nephews and niece. I was really pleased with the quality of service that I received, how simple the ordering process was and the actual items received. I’ve now wrapped these items up, ready for Christmas, and feel happy to have some more presents sorted.

It can be hard to buy presents for younger children, particularly as I only have a young daughter myself. I’m not that sure what my nephews are in to, as it can change daily. It was nice to pick some choices based on their ages.

I would definitely use Wicked Uncle again and was really pleased with the website, ordering process and overall service.
