If the dough is too wet then add a little extra flour.
Pat it together into a big round basically using my hands.
Make the dough around 1/2 inch thick as these will rise up in the oven.
Line or grease a baking tray. I use baking tray liners.
I get around 10 scones usually, although they are on the smaller side.
Brush the tops of the scones with a little milk.
Bake at Gas Mark 5 (190C) for around 12 minutes.
Cool on a cooling rack or enjoy warm from the oven.
