Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts I used 2 skin on
  • 2 tablespoons of Tikka paste Shop bought will work fine or you can make homemade
  • 1/4 tablespoon of olive oil or spray oil

Instructions

  1. Coat your chicken breasts in 1/4 tablespoon of olive oil mixed with the 2 tablespoons of Tikka paste.
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent the chicken breasts from sticking.
  3. Cook at 180C (360F) for 8-9 minutes.
  4. Turn the chicken breasts over and then cook for a further 8-9 minutes. (Times will vary depending on breast sizes. If you're using chicken breast chunks you'll want to cook for nearer to 5-6 minutes each side before checking)
  5. Check the internal temperature is at least 74C (165F) before serving.
  6. I wrapped my air fryer tikka chicken breast in a little foil and rested them for a couple of minutes so that the breasts would be juicy. They really were!
  7. Serve in a soft white flour roll, tortilla wrap or with air fryer chips! You can even make this recipe into chicken tikka kebabs with the addition of onions and peppers for a tasty meal served over rice.
