Ingredients

  • 750 Chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Dry rub ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper

Instructions

  1. Use a kitchen towel or reusable kitchen cloth to pat dry your chicken wings, you want them as dry as possible.
  2. Combine together the dry rub ingredients and place into a large mixing bowl. (I use a pestle and mortar to get a super fine blend, but you can skip this if short on time).
  3. Dust your chicken wings in the cornflour, and shake off any excess.
  4. Then add the dusted chicken wings to the mixing bowl with the dry rub and give them a good shake to coat well.
  5. Place a layer of the coated chicken wings in to the air fryer. Avoid crowding the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook at 180C (355F) for 16 minutes, shaking up a couple of times during the cooking process.
  7. Then turn up to 220C and cook for 6 minutes, turning once during this cooking time.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
