I love a good survey! Particularly ones that are well paid. There are a variety of different survey websites that I use, and Y Live would have to be one of the top ones for me. Not only are the payments versus time great but they email you when surveys are live and cashout is £50, which only takes me 2-3 months to earn on average, sometimes even less.

How to join Y Live?

Sign up via the Y Live website. It’s free, like all survey websites I share here, and so you lose nothing by signing up and seeing what surveys they can offer to you.

How much do Y Live Surveys pay?

The surveys from Y Live have a minimum payment of £1. Typically surveys are £2-3 although I’ve had my share of £4-£5 ones in the past too. On average I see surveys for £2 and as long as I respond to the email invitation quite fast then it is rare to get disqualified.

Cashout on Y Live

The cash out threshold is 50 points (£50). Each point is worth £1. How redemptions are processed is automatic.

On the 1st of each month, as long as you’ve reached 50 points (£50) in the previous month, your payment will be processed. For example if you complete a survey that takes you to 50 points in May then on the 1st of June your payment will be processed.

You’ll receive an email, advising you of the fact you’ve hit the cashout threshold, and the two payment methods available are BACS or cheque. Bacs arrive within the first 10 working days of the month and cheques typically arrive in the third week of the month.

Any £s that you have accrued over £50 will be kept back towards your next payment. This usually means for me that by the time my cashout arrives, around the middle of the same month, I’m already well on the way to my next payout.

How much I make from Y Live surveys:

I personally cash out £50 4-5 times a year on average, but 3 times in 2021, which isn’t a bad amount of money for the time taken. I find the surveys are really fast – although they do put test questions in them so watch out for those! B

The surveys are incredibly straight forward. Typically I have to answer some questions, such as age, sex and employment status as well as answering some quality control questions.

These consist of asking you about an item that you own or use, and then there is another question towards the end of the survey that will basically check that you have provided genuine answers, as long as you tell the truth in your surveys you won’t have any problems with these.

How to get surveys on Y Live?

Make sure you’ve filled out any profile surveys on the website and then they will email you when a survey is available. Simple as that!

It appears, from looking at the FAQ section of the website, that there are also quality control measures in place with regards to how long it takes you to complete a survey, but I’ve never had a problem with either of these measures.

I complete surveys fast and I’ve never been disqualified. Presumably this is because I’m accurate with my answers, read the questions and generally just pay attention properly.

How much do Y Live Surveys pay?

The value of each survey is dependent on the time that it is expected it will take you to complete it. Each 5 minutes pays £1 and I must say that they are very accurate with their costings.

Usually a £1 survey will take me just a few minutes. I do take my time, just to ensure that I don’t miss any quality control questions. I have had surveys worth £5 or more in the past, that have taken much less than the stated 25 minutes.

How long do payments take from Y Live?

As mentioned above the payments arrive within 2-3 weeks after the 1st of the month you’ve hit cashout in.

I’ve never had a cheque, or bank transfer, not arrive, turn up unsigned or fail to clear. This is another ‘slow burner’ for me but it is a favourite one of mine. If I have a full inbox and I spot any Y Live surveys I will always check them out first over other surveys.

I like the layout of their surveys and the topics. I’m not even bothering answering the same demographic questions each survey. I know their surveys won’t be long or dull.
