Air fryer diced potatoes

Diced or cubed potatoes in the air fryer with methods for parboiling and air frying from raw.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable spray oil
  • Dried parsley
  • Garlic powder
  • Optional - paprika and rosemary

Instructions

To cook from fresh - no parboiling

  • Peel and wash the potatoes.
  • Cube the potatoes. I like to dry using a clean kitchen towel, but you CAN skip this step if you want to!
  • Use spray oil on the potatoes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Air fry at 180C (360F) for 15 minutes.
  • Add ¼ teaspoon of dried parsley, garlic powder and if you want to paprika and rosemary.
  • Add a little more spray vegetable oil if needed.
  • Shake up.
  • Air fry at 200C (390F) for 8 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

To parboil to give extra fluffy edges!

  • Put a pan of lightly salted water on to boil.
  • Peel and wash the potatoes.
  • Cube the potatoes.
  • Boil on a medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
  • Drain. Leave to steam dry for 5 minutes.
  • Add the spray vegetable oil on to the cubed potatoes.
  • Add ¼ teaspoon of dried parsley, garlic powder and if you want to paprika and rosemary.
  • Air fry at 190C (375F) for 10 minutes.
  • Shake.
  • Air fry for a further 10 minutes at 190C (375F). Shake halfway.
  • Serve and enjoy!
