Air fryer stuffing balls

Homemade stuffing mix perfect for cooking air fryer stuffing balls

Ingredients

  • 1 slice bread
  • 1 medium onion
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 30 g butter unsalted
  • small handful fresh sage or 1 tablespoon dried sage

Instructions

  • Combine together the olive oil and butter in a wide based frying pan and heat until melted completely. Stir well.
  • Chop the onion and add this in.
  • Fry until translucent, usually 2-3 minutes.
  • Chop or roughly rip the bread and add this in. Stir well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Chop the sage and add this in. Fry for 1 minute.
  • Stir well.
  • Place your mix into a food processor and pulse together until it's a fine consistency.
  • Roll into balls and then you can place the balls into your air fryer basket. Personally I aim for small balls, as you can see from my pictures. These are ideal servicing sizes for everyone to enjoy a couple alongside their dinner.
  • Air fry at 200C for 10 minutes. Shake halfway (gently!
