How to cook rice in the slow cooker – My thoughts
I’ve only made this recipe twice, and both times it has been so simple. I know that rice is really simple to cook on a hob. I find that the hour before our dinnertime is SO busy most days. I like that I can just stir the rice when I have a few seconds, and it is ready for us when we want to eat. Also, if I serve dinner 5-10 minutes late it won’t be ruined.
There was a little bit of rice stuck to the slow cooker pot the few times I’ve made this so far. This was really simple to remove after a short soaking though. You could always look at *slow cooker liners if you want to avoid this. I’m happy to scrub a little to save money and the environment!
